Description: Statistics over the past several years have shown that there has been an increase in workplace violence. In fact, active threat active shooter situations are most likely to occur in places of businesses. Knowing this information, it is essential that we train our businesses and citizens to respond appropriately. This stop-the-threat training is a perfect example of how law enforcement is working together with our citizens and businesses to create a safer community. The same principles taught in this course can also be used for personal and family safety. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing public safety to our citizens and wants to thank you for making your safety, the safety of others, and our community's safety a top priority. We look forward to training with you.
