The red arrow on the compass symbolizes the Northern Red River Valley and the blue arrow symbolizes Western Minnesota, the area that NRASP serves. The combination of the legacy logo and the updated graphic, gives NRASP a fresh new look that will represent it well for years to come.

Description:  While the metric is improving, 52% of businesses do not have a business continuity plan in place. If you are new to this, this is the plan that will answer questions about what you do after the emergency.  With you building a complete or total loss, what do you do on day 2 and beyond to avoid becoming part of the statistical total of businesses that fail to reopen following a catastrophic event.  The process of developing these plans can feel like opening a bottomless can of worms.  Following Matt’s risk management philosophy of good, better, best, the effort of coming up with an “ok” or incomplete plan is better than no plan.

About Our Speaker: Matt Weis is the Loss Control Manager for Fargo branch of Marsh McLennan Agency, LLC.  He holds the designation of Professional in Human Resources.  As a resource to his commercial lines clients, he provides assistance with all things safety and compliance.  As a co-chair of the MMA National Risk Control Practice Group, Matt leads a process of standardizing loss control resources, specific to industry for MMA consultants company-wide.  Matt is also an active member of ASSP, sits on the board of Northern Region Association of Safety Professionals, and is the current Chairman of the North Dakota Associated General Contractors Safety Committee.

As a way to give back to local community restaurants, current paid NRASP Members that register through Wild Apricot AND attend the Virtual Zoom meeting will receive a gift card to a local F-M area restaurant.
