DescriptionVision Zero is the state's traffic safety strategy and goal.  The State of North Dakota is calling for an end to motor vehicle crash fatalities and serious injuries through Vision Zero.  Vision Zero is not a campaign.  This is a statewide initiative that will remain as there is no acceptable number of deaths on North Dakota roads other than zero.  How may of YOUR family members are acceptable or should be included in the number of fatalities?

About Our Speaker:  Dan Donlin is a Bismarck native and graduate of the University of Mary.  He completed a 30-year career at the Bismarck Police Department, which included working in Patrol, Investigations, Director of the Police Youth Bureau, PIO (Public Information Officer), 15 years on the SWAT team, a Law Enforcement Instructor specializing in Use of Force, Defensive Tactics and Officer Involved Shootings, 7 years as a Deputy Chief, and ended his law enforcement career in July of 2018 after 5 1/2 years as Bismarck's Police Chief.

Currently Dan is a Safety Liaison Officer for the North Dakota Department of Transportation's Safety Division where he works with law enforcement and local communities to advance Vision Zero to eliminate fatalities and serious injuries caused by motor vehicle crashes.
