Description: In this session, different types of fatigue as they relate to our physical and mental capabilities will be discussed. Further information will be provided to help identify fatigue, review sources of stress to our bodies, become familiar with the signs and symptoms and lastly, how to prevent fatigue from happening altogether.
About Our Speaker: Crystal Nelson is an Occupational Therapist, Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist – Level II and Remote Ergonomic Specialist. She is also the owner of Fargo Ergonomics and an e-commerce business, Alter Ergo.
She graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Mary and has certifications in functional capacity evaluations, functional job assessments, and pre-work screens/post-offer employment testing.
Crystal also enjoys being an adjunct professor for the doctoral students of occupational therapy at the University of Mary.
Crystal is an expert in work-related injury prevention for every workplace, including industrial, manufacturing, healthcare and office environments. Her experience as an occupational therapist and her expertise in the treatment of upper extremity injuries fuels her passion to help people prevent the onset of musculoskeletal disorders.
This event has been approved as a Continuing Education (CE) credit by the Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety and the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and provided by OECS.
