Description: Metro COG serves as a regional planning agency in the Fargo-Moorhead metro area as well as the Metropolitan Planning Organization for transportation planning that uses Federal transportation funds to ensure continuing, cooperative and comprehensive planning is carried out through the metropolitan area. The presentation will explain how this works, how it relates to the transportation system we have today, and what studies are currently taking place that will impact the future of the network.

In addition, Mark Wolter of the F-M Transportation Club will share a video on Distracted Driving as well as an update on Omnitracs update.

About Our Speaker: Cindy Gray has worked in as a land use and transportation planner for over 25 years in the Fargo-Moorhead area and for 10 years prior in the Twin Cities and southern California. She is currently the Executive Director of the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments, also referred to as Metro COG.
