About Our Speaker: Jamie A. Risic, Senior Vice President, Client Executive - MMA Environmental
Jamie began his career in 1998 with a national environmental health & safety services firm. During this time, he gained valuable experience working within many diverse manufacturing and general industry settings. Jamie also has a broad knowledge-base in environmental compliance documentation and reporting including air quality, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, point source and non-point source industrial discharge, stormwater, superfund amendment and reauthorization act (SARA) reporting, spill prevention controls and countermeasures (SPCC), spill reporting and phase I environmental site assessment. He has also navigated through hundreds of safety & environmental compliance audits and agency inspections for clients throughout the United States.
In 2016, Jamie and business partner Chris Borgen finalized an acquisition agreement where IPC became part of MMA Environmental – a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC Company. Jamie & Chris bring their wealth of services and expertise that is highly sought after by MMA clients and work closely with MMA’s risk management, loss control, and sector practice teams to enhance their ability to drive substantive change into their clients’ organizations. As always, their core focus is on providing operational risk management services to a broad base of manufacturing, energy and real estate clients throughout the upper Midwest region.
Jamie attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology.
He and his wife Keri have two boys, with whom they try to maintain a very active and balanced lifestyle. Whenever possible they enjoy spending time on their boat, fishing the lakes of Minnesota, skiing, traveling and spending time with friends.
