Course Description: This course provides basic severe weather detection, reporting, and safety related information as part of the National sponsored and locally supported program SkyWarn Storm Spotter program. Attendees will Learn about severe storms features, both observational (cloud structures) and radar related (hook echo, Bow echo, etc..) and will review recent significant storms from around the area.
About Greg Gust: Greg is the Warning Coordination Meteorologist, serving the 35 counties of eastern ND and northwest MN Since 1998. Greg has chased, caught, and released tornadoes in 13 states and two foreign countries.
